Hi All,
New member with first post and located in the NE. I'm intrigued by these holders on my T Top. I troll on occasion and do not have outriggers on (new to me) 2005 236 CC. I've seen same configuration on other boats but not in use. Seems to be a good feature but risky when turning during troll. Appreciate comments and suggestions.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your boat. Post up some pics when you can, we love SF boat porn.
I am not sure I understand your question... Are you referring to the rod holders on the port and starboard sides of your ttop that angle out?

They work fine in the absence of outriggers. I used mine quite a bit until I installed outriggers. They are better than nothing and help to widen your spread a bit. Stagger your baits and dont turn to sharp to mitigate tangles.

Thanks to Admiral and Moderator for response. Not much interest in post and using these tree ornaments. I'm sure Sailfish put them there for a fishing reason, but I can't seem to locate happy users. Maybe this is a good winter topic, LOL.
