So I got out early Sunday morning and found a nice school of Albies. It is one of the largest ones that i have caught!! Attachment Deleted

Always fun to catch. Pound for pound I think Albies give the best fight and I've a few larger ones and thought I had a yellowfin or large mahi until I got it to the boat.

Nice. Were you on the North or South side of the Island.. I've been waiting to see them come through the Sound nothing yet.

We were out yesterday for a black fish tournament and did well didn’t win but took a 3rd, while we were out saw a ton of Albies all around Plum Island and west up to Mattituck.

They are by far my most favorite species to catch inshore!!!

They were along the nw corner off the buildings in the 40-60’ range and a little further east as well along the island. Nothing past the ne corner.
