I hope a channel hasn't blown, the amp does have thermal overload protect if I'm looking at the right amp on the Poly Planar website. When you cranked it up were you hearing a lot of distortion or clipping? OK, the amp is not in a convenient location, can you look to see if the red "Protect" light is on?

I just saw the photo, I don't see anything there that raises a red flag.

No red protect light on, that's the problem I was having while I was on vacation. The amp went into protect mode. Turned out to be a loose ground connection. I did not notice any static or distortion.

I also cut the smaller wires back removing two butt splice connectors so was able to attach connectors to the larger gauge wire which is good.
So all seems good,,, for NOW.
