Just installed the actuator, works great. The hardest part was getting the new wire through the existing transom hole. I used some WD40 to lube the wire and I was able to reach the wire from the starboard rear hatch and pull it through. I did not use the douch connector, used wire connectors. Getting the wire through the existing hole was a pain for me also. I ado did away with the couch connectors.

Y’all use heat shrink connectors? I actually just ordered a pair (needed one but they were bogo) and will be replacing maybe this weekend What’s the reason for not using the douch connectors?

My starboard side stays lower than the port side by about 1/2 inch. Is this the start of it failing. It's either not retracting all the way up or creeping down just a tiny bit I'm not sure.

I used heat shrink connectors. My deauch connectors were getting corroded do I cut them and hard wired them.

Gotcha
I gotta say, of all the things on that boat, the lenco’s have just proven to be a quality product. 18 + years before one died.
Hopefully the newer stufff lasts
