Thank you, I am now registered. My son and I bought a 2005 Salfish 2660 with twin 250's yesterday. We are having it transported up to Wilmington early April. Looking forward to enjoying it.

Thank you. She is a rocket compared to my previous boat. Which was a Albemarle 24cc. She had a 290 hp inboard with a jack shaft and a duoprop out drive. At 3600 rpms she would cruise at 23 mph and burn 16 gallons per hour. When we sea trialed this the other day I was used to going easy on the throttle to get up on plane. This boat jumped up on plane in 4 seconds (good thing I was holding on)the owner backed the throttles down to 3500 rpms she was cruising at 32 mph and burning 15 gallons per hour. Much more efficient then my Albe. Plus it is a 9 foot beam as opposed to the 8 foot. The present owner is having the T top canvas redone and a few electronic bugs checked. So she will be ready for transport by the end of the month. Just as an aside I would like to say thank you to the gentleman that we bought this from, I know he is on this board. Don, THANK YOU we will take as good care of it as you did. Pictures will come hopefully with bloody decks.

I trailer my boat down and fish out of Ocracoke every summer. Hopefully this mess gets under control by the end of June, so we can get down there.

Ocracoke is way north of me, so I can't really help. But I have north of 1000 numbers from the Swansboro hole south. Onslow bay has great bottom structure all the way to the break and beyond. More than happy to share them.
