Just purchased a 2005 2660 center console. The owner may not have the transom door. I may need to have one fabricated. Does anyone know the specs? Height, width and thickness. I am thinking that I can have a slab of starboard cut to size with rounded or beveled edges. I just need the dimensions. Thanks in advance for the help.

Congrats on the purchase. Unfortunately my 2660 is in Atlantic Beach and I'm in Raleigh so I can't help you with the door measure.

I'll be climbing up in the boat in a bit I'll get you some measurements. It's just starboard. The spring latch can be bought online.

Seminole Marine Group (AKA Sailfish Boats) gave me a part number and said that Teak Isle was their supplier. But they have not dealt with them in years, and they don't know where they are located. I will try to search them out. But if you can get the measurements that would be fantastic. Thanks again. Barry

I got the actual drawing from Teak Isle. It is a lot more than a starboard slab. I am going to attach the drawing. I have Teak Isle working on a cost, I am also working with a fabricator in Benson, NC. 21854-PD.pdf (103.15 KB)

Barry, do I recognize your user name from Saltwatercentral? Saw you sold the albemarle, you put a lot of work into that one. Hopefully this one goes easier!

Send the drawing to Art at Drumco.he can cut this thing to order for you and round/smooth the edges.. Very reasonable prices. www.drumcomfg.com/#

Wow. That drawing is a nightmare. As an engineer, it took me a little while to understand the drafting and dimensioning.

Never heard from Drumco. Contacted Teak Isle they forwarded me to the division that makes the door (Boat Outfitters) they are supplying the entire door with hardware for $150.00 including shipping. That was easy.

That was easy. Good to hear. That's surprising, Art was very fast to respond to me. They are a small shop, could be impacted by shut downs etc. He is making me a tackle center. A lot cheaper than Boat Outfitters but same quality.

Great to know. I guess BO has the CAD files to it would be a lot easier. But I am sure that I will be making more additions and modifications. A boat is personal tou ones wants and desires. I made a bunch of modifications to my old Albemarle.

I ordered the door this past Friday. On Tuesday the owner that I am buying the boat from told me that he found the transom door. I called boat outfitters to ask if it was too late to cancel. I spoke with TJ Johnson. Today I found that my credit card was credited for the door payment. I have never had any dealings with Boat Outfitters before last Friday. I would say they are a first class company. First they supplied me with the drawing knowing that I was going to try to get it fabricated. Second they took my order without hesitation. Thirdly and most importantly, they canceled my order and sent a full refund in short order. Congratulations to a stand up company.
