20 min. To get it out, photos to follow. Where I'm pointing is where the motor bolts to the unit and that's where the four or five o rings are that are leaking that need to be replaced .

Winner winner chicken dinner got the motor separated where the pencil is that's one of the five o rings that I can see is bad

Easy do-it-yourself first to remove the three Phillips head screws and the cover

Next remove the two wires that go to the trim motor, blue wire on top green wire on the bottom. Snake the wire out its pretty long and it will come out through the grommet.

Next remove the snap ring on the upper Ram. The pin will literally slide out pushing it with one finger. I did stand underneath it and used my back to pick up ever-so-slightly to take the pressure off the pain

The bottom pin 12 mm socket one #12 wrench on each side one end will come off with a washer attached,,the pin can slide out now, again you may need to take a little pressure off by lifting the motor. Be sure to disconnect the little ground cable that goes from the motor to the zink.

To remove the unit pick up slightly and turn counter-clockwise it will slide out. Tools needed number 10 number 12 wrench and socket. snap ring pliers. Two separate motor from the unit quarter inch Allen head impact tool with a hammer.

This little project save me a pile of money a new unit is $2,500 used or rebuilt run anywhere from 500 to $1200 to replace the seals and stop the leaks 30 or 40 bucks. Winner winner I'm a happy camper today.
