Finally designed and installed a new switch panel on my 2007 218CC. Old Carling switches had rubberized coating that was deteriorating. The printed labels on the original Sailfish panel had faded to be barely read, and not at all at night.
New Wire Marine built my new panel. I went with the etched rocker switch covers that can be read day or night, and the backlight option. I also expanded the panel to match the Yamaha key switch size and added a Sailfish logo with a blue backlight. I'm very pleased at how it came out! Here some pictures

That looks awesome. Did they send it rewired or did you have to that by yourself?

That looks awesome. Did they send it rewired or did you have to that by yourself? Thanks! I forgot to take a picture of the back of the panel before I installed it, but I had them pre-wire all the switch backlighting and ground jumpers. All terminals are heat shrunk and had them add gaskets behind all the switches. Theoretically I would just have to add power to the panel and logo backlight, wire the USB and power outlet, and reconnect each switch power lead from my existing breakers (I kept the breaker panel). However, I switched some switch positions around and there was an awful lot of extra grounds for other boat wiring that was connected to the switches via duplex and triplex multi-stack blade connectors. A tight panel layout was made tighter when I got them to add the USB outlet, and with all the extra grounds and such it was tough to get it outside of the console to work on. Some wires weren't quite long enough so all the wiring had to be cut loose and somewhat re-done to get it all to route in a semi-neat fashion. I had a few gremlins but hope they are laid to rest.
Working now on rewiring the dock and lift light 220V and 110V power that should have been done 5 years ago. Need to get all the work done so I can get out - Spanish Mackeral are hitting at the inlet and they're catching cobia off the Beach!

Looks really good. Nice job.
Do you have a breaker panel? I assume its mounted in the console?

Looks really good. Nice job. Do you have a breaker panel? I assume its mounted in the console? Yes, the original Sailfish breaker panel is in the console. Since it is out of the sun, the panel is in good shape and readable and I haven't had any failures with the breakers, so I kept it. Keeping it also minimized the amount of rewiring.
One intermittent issue I've had since the new panel is with the white navigation light on the t-top. I think it is Perko. It has 2 bulbs, one forward and one rear. The first time I checked it after the new panel, the rear light wasn't working. I assumed it was the bulb. However, after I got the cover off I couldn't figure out how to get the bulb out without risking breaking it, and I could see the filament was good. From one I can tell, there should be 2 pair of wires from the light, one for each bulb. I tried to trace the wiring back but it appears there is only one pair of wires coming to the switch panel. After messing with some things, both lights would be on, and 2 other times the forward light would be out. Currently both came on when I last checked it so I'll keep my fingers crossed. If I end up replacing the t-top, I'll have to pull the light off and maybe I'll run new wire to it then.

Maysport, there should only be 1 set of wires going to the light. Mine did the same thing. One day the front bulb would work, next time the rear. It had corrosion I’m sure. I switched it out with an led light.

I switched it out with an led light. Maybe it was coincidental, and it is probably corrosion. The wiring diagram shows separate wires for the front and stern side light, plus a ground. I wonder if they are wired together somewhere in the masthead or in the T-Top tubing?
Has your LED replacement been reliable? LED lights often are touchy about a good ground, and I would think it would be even more susceptible to corrosion?

No problems going on two years with it.
