I am having an issue with pumping out my port side fishbox on my 2008 2360 WAC. The old pump finally gave out last summer and I had it replaced and I believe it is a Gulper Grouper diaphragm pump. I'm able to pump out the starboard side fish box with no issues and what I had done in the past was plug up alternating boxes with a rubber plug to pump out each side. The port side box always pumped out slow (pump is much closer to the starboard box), but now i notice nothing pumps out at all when I have the starboard box plugged.
Given that the boat only came with one pump, is there a switch off valve somewhere in the bilge to pump out each side that I am missing? I have tried clearing out the hoses with no success. Any other suggestions or has anyone else had a similar issue?

Mine has two pumps, one for each box. Sometimes it takes a while for one to prime and start pumping. I can stick the water hose in the drain in the box and it will get the water flowing or I put my hand over the outlet on the outside of the boat to start a suction. This usually helps me out. Don’t know if it will help you or not.

I have a 290 and just detected a major kink in the fish box drain hose. It looks like it was installed that way. I might swap it out because my port fish box is slow to pump out too. It is literally kinked 90 degrees.

I have a 2008 2360 Express as well with two pumps. Had a small problem with my fishbox not pumping so I just took the power washer nozzle and stuck it in there and cleared everything out. I think you have to do this every now and then. Good Luck
