I'm to the point of need channelocks to open and close the damn things...sprayed silicon, liquid wrench, corrosion x and anything else I can find and they aren't loosening up.
Are they just standard PVC valves that I can get at a big box store?
I'd pay for a quality upgrade if anyone has a suggestion...I have a feeling it will be one of those PIA jobs I'll hope to never do again.

You try spraying from inside livewell at that valve? I find that more affective. Do it both open and closed a few times. Before doing that, I wonder if trying to flush with salt away or a white vinegar solution might help?
At least on my boat, changing that thing would be a serious PITA.

Just curious, you generally leave yours open or closed? I leave mine open unless using it. Not sure how that might affect except maybe for some sort of growth in there?

I’ve sprayed from the live well and that didn’t seem to do much.
I’ve only had the boat about a year and the valves are generally left open...I don’t think the previous owner fished much and expect they’ve mainly been open.
