I don't know your area but any area with a Uprising rock structure will create a rip line in the water which is visible while the tides are running. Bass will often hold close to the rip line looking for a easy meal. You can also troll the wire line 20 to 40 yards off the rip line depending how strong the tide is running. Good luck.

Gil - I don't get that far north so no tips to offer, but you should search for and join a website called Barnegat Fishing Hole, it's a bit more local, mostly fisherman from Little egg Inlet up to Manasquan, but you'll get some decent advice there. Good Luck.

Any Recommended Fishing Spots for Stripers in Raritan Bay? I work in the harbor so I am down that way from time to time. I see guys fishing the edges of the channel on the north side next to SI. The other spot just NE of Seguin Pt. shows a wreck. Don't know for sure but maybe a starting point. I would fish the flood and at night...
