This past Sunday it was so sloppy, with out them I would have to turn around and call the day off. Great investment on your boat

Finally got to run her today. Going to be hot in there this summer if I don’t open them up. New radar works well too. The steering was a little tight. Can I just add some fluid or does it require purging as well?

My steering was very stiff to the point that it was very, very difficult to turn the wheel. I also found the helm would wobble. It wound up being the tilt wheel assembly was worn. That was binding up the helm. I(f you were low on fluid or have air in the line, you would feel something similar to a chatter when you turn the wheel. The part came from Marine Part Source. Here is the info from the order with the part number. Thanks for the info. Fortunately I just had to add a small amount of fluid and it cleared right up and is back to normal.
