With the weirdness of the 4th an no social events, my family an I decided to spend day on Nanticoke River, skiing knee boarding etc. While out, I get thinking about next offshore trip, and that all 3 of my boys are home, why not do a quick trip Sunday. To my surprise, my dear wife says she would go along on a short trip, if it was nice weather. First time for her, seasick in past, wanted no parts of out of sight of land. So now pressure is on, looking at reports tuna moved inside, mixed with bluefish, an lots of people fishing for them. I pick a location not mentioned in any published reports from Saturday, load up. We clear inlet at daybreak, slightly rougher than I hoped, 3’ waves, but fortunately drop some at about 10 miles out. Arrive at 720, troll for hour with small fleet, mostly charter boats, see few fish caught, 840 come tight, all take turns on rod, boat 50lb yfin, 10 min back on troll, #2 hits, boat it. Another 30 min, head back west to my mahi grounds, still early for them, but pick 1 off, gives good show. Back in inlet at 1. Couldn’t have asked for better day, don’t think wife will be regular, but not sick, had the experience. Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Good going Dave! Funny we just picked a cluster of myler star balloons out of the water last week 8 miles out, but not before I dropped a jig under them and caught a slinger.
