You think you had a bad day? Not my boat. The only details I've seen are that this is a Sailfish, 30-something hull, out of "NSB" which I'm guessing is New Smyrna Beach, FL.

Holy moly!
There must be more to the story...
That has 300 Zukes which isnt an option from the factory so guessing it's an older hull that was repowered. Overpowered? Structural issues or both maybe?
One of the comments....
This is why I always check hulls during repowers!!! NEVER over power a boat, or put new power on a bad Hull! Hope he gets every dollar out of this shop

Oooof. I didn't think the Zukes are that much heavier than an F250...I think I'll be checking my transom this weekend.

Those motors are 639lbs a piece. Lots of torque.
I think the old F250 +/-600lbs.
I dont think it was the weight of the motors. It seems there's more going on here than is made apparent.

It would be nice to have the whole story. From the video you can't tell much. I was guessing at first that the boat was tied up or anchored and put hard into reverse, but who knows?

I see a Bud lite can floating, maybe to many beers. And I thought my day was bad.

The whole "no boat" thing lasted exactly 4 months lol. I ended up switching things up and moved to the inshore gig. Really enjoying it and trying to overcome the challenges of learning a new fishery. Spent 4 days in the Keys last week. 2 days were in Everglades National Park. Truly Gods country. I miss my 2660 and the memories she gave me and my family. I kick around the idea of coming back occasionally. I sure don't miss the upkeep of a bigger 10 year old boat though! I hope things are well with you! Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Things are good in this 'new normal.' Same old stuff, blowing money on my boat every chance I can get. Hahaha.

Love your new boat. Have my eyes one something like that for the offshore windy days that we can't go out.

That is where my failing memory put you at least It is a nice option to have for those windy days for sure. It is nice option to have so your not feeling like you went 10 rounds with Mike Tyson after those not so flat days offshore. If you do get something to run inshore make sure to look up "Florida Marine Tracks". It opens up a whole new world for inshore fishing / running that could take 8 lifetimes to learn.

Yes, I have my boat at my Key Largo house. I’ve been considering that option since last year, that’s why I thought selling my 320 get something smaller, like my former 2680 and buy a flats boat. I’ve seen Florida Marine Tracks, and it looks incredible for inshore fishing. Thanks for the advice, and keep enjoying your flats fishing.

Looks like a 30-06. I would like to know who it belongs to and get the full story. I put in at NSB so I’m totally willing to drive to the person/ boat and get the details if anyone knows who to talk to.
