Looks like this boat could've been a 266 or 2660 repowered with 600hp! Attachments:

And seems this fella had repowered his 266 with Zuke 300s too and found some cracks.

Those manufacturers don't know anything about maximum HP. I want to go fast!
Another example of the need for natural selection.

It matches a 30-06 perfectly but I can’t find any 266 pics that look like this, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. I would be happier if its a 266 cause those are a lot older. Pic 1 is a 266, pic 2 is a 3006. Attachments:

Secondly, someone else on IG reported hearing the boat in question was a 266. The 266 was produced up through 2005 and there have been some differences between years. There wasnt enough to go by from the video to tell since the entire transome was ripped off in the water but i did not see the center transome rod holder configuration depicted in the 30-06 picture in that video. Could've also been an early 2660 who knows for sure.

Did the 3006 come as a CC? That dash looks like 2660/ 2860 style. Someone has got to know who’s boat it is. Edit: the 3006 did come as a CC. Still don’t know what this is but the transom and livewell do match the 3006. Attachments:
