Hey fellow SF people! Picking up my 2020 245 DC this week! Very excited! Any tips/advice you guys have it would be much appreciated ! I’ll be running out of Md in the Chesapeake Bay. Welcome, I have a 2019 245DC - you will love it. One tip - make sure you try everything out, all pumps, switches etc. You want to know ASAP what if anything needs repair. I have a fish box pump not working on mine.

Congratulations! Exciting times.
My only advice is to take your time and carefully look over the boat and test EVERY switch and pump before you seal the deal. Believe me the dealer will be a lot more responsive if they dont have your money yet. Lol
That will be a great boat for the bay.
I'm out of Annapolis. Where will you be doing your boating?

Will do, I’m sure they will become quite annoyed when i won’t sign off immediately. I bought it at Galahad in North East and will be keeping it in Deale. Once the storm passes i just need to find a good day to make the 70 mile run from North East to Deale. Should be a fun day!

Welcome aboard, I have a 2018 DC 245, great boat, but I've had my share of annoying problems. Check every pump and switch, twice, no three times. I have had problems with my marine head, my stereo, baitwell pump and transducer. If you got the 3 piece enclosure, make sure it fits and all the snaps are in the right spot. It may be hard to envision, but I had snaps on the 3 piece enclosure that weren't in the same place as the snaps for the cockpit cover, so I had to slide snaps along the windshield to the left or right depending on which cover I was using. Take your time, especially if your servicing dealer is not your selling dealer, go through everything several times on land and in the water.
Good luck and enjoy.

So i was taking the “new model” approach and waiting for the third year of production to buy so that way most of the kinks are ironed out as they have leaned from the first two years. We shall see!

ontheline, hope your boat is as good as my 2018 245DC. Only a few minor problems and I was able to resolve them without going to the dealer. I didn't get the enclosure so I can't speak to that, but footy3's advice on checking it out thoroughly is worthwhile.
As fishnfool says it should be a great boat for the bay. I've taken mine out to Norfolk Canyon (really love autopilot on those long trips out and back in) and know the boat can take much worse weather and waves than I ever plan to be in.
Looking forward to your 1st day reports and pics.
