I have had my 2021 245 DC out 4 times and the boat is great. Ran out and back to the ocean in stuff at 30 MPH that many boats of similar size would not do comfortably. As to the topic, basically a good boat, but like most boats, some issues. I do almost all my own work (including pulling and rebuilding the motor on my 2200 regal) and so far, easily have 60 hours of fixing, adding, upgrading and improving various issues on the 245 DC. I intend to make a Youtube video about it, another month or 2...... Also filled the tank for the 1st time, I get 2.7ish MPH crusing, which I think is pretty good for the size and wieght, but still set me back $310.00 Glad you like the 245DC. We've been very happy with ours, and yes all the boats I've owned had their maintenance and improvements done by me. As part of buying my Albemarle the marina included the 1st maintenance (at 20 hours if I remember correctly). I found oil in the bilge when the boat was returned. Except for warranty work I did all the maintenance I could. I always know the quality of the work.
Look forward to your video. I'm sure there's something I haven't thought of already that I'm just going to have to have. I mounted a fan on the boat last week so I don't get hot when the grandkids are on the beach or playing in the water and I'm just sitting in a hot boat waiting their return.

Sailfish exceeded my expectations!
Not only did they replace my tower, they seemed to have done a complete "quality control" on my boat as if it were leaving the factory for the first time. They addressed several items that were not in any way under warranty! The repaired a chip in my gel coat, replaced a hinge I bent by mistake, replaced my window latch that I only asked for a replacement screw for, refitted my head door latch and seemed to have buffed and polished my gunnels. They replaced my hard top mounted "canvass" that holds the life vests. They ended up having to replace my VHF antenna as a result of the tower swap. No charge! The also figured out what was causing a mystery rattle in my hard top. They found a fiberglass "disc" that remained from when they cut the hole for the interior lights mounted in the hard top. They did all of this in under two weeks!
So happy to have this fixed and back on the water. After my negative dealer experience (which went out of business), I now have complete confidence in Sailfish standing behind their product and hope to by a 276 or 290 in the future. Great folks down there at the Cairo, Georgia plant! Thank you!

My 2021 had loose pipe screws. There are nuts under the helm that I put a wrench on to tighten the screws up. It isn't just a threaded fitting.
