I haven't gotten a chance to see this new model in person but I do like 'some' of the changes.
I love the added infloor fish boxes aft.
I like the dive door.
The fold up jump seating on the gunwale aft seems nice. I wonder if the seat can be removed?
Like the slidable bow back rest.
Helm seating looks good but seems tight behind the leaning post even with the seat folded up.
I dont like they didnt address the cant of the liner mid ship across from the console. This really makes it difficult to stand and face out, as-in anyone fishing in this spot.
I am not too sure how i feel about the foxed glass windshield. On hot summer days I love the being able to unzip and open my strata glass windshield for the breeze. The windshield wiper seems like something else to break
Bilge access seems unclear. Not sure there access behind the flip down seat - I see a panel there but looks really small. Or if that entire area including the seat flips up?
Anyway nice boat, nothwithstanding the added infloor fish boxes seems more family sandbar oriented.

It looks nice if you’re looking for all those knick knacks...but hey, about the only “luxury” I require is a freshwater wash down (go ahead, call me a wuss) I lol’d when they showed the console with the head, plus dive ladder, plus table...what else can we cram in there?
They don’t feature it in this video, but have you seen the port cooler in the splash well? I’ve got to think ice will last all of about 6 minutes, but it’s a brilliant idea to sell a new boat.
I’d bitch more but I’m not paying new boat prices anyway, lol.

Nice boat, but if it's for fishing that is a small aft deck. Just imagine a tuna and you in the back. I guess you just gaff 'em and throw them in the fish box (which are a nice size). As for the fresh water....I'll never own a boat with a raw water head again. With granddaughters the head gets used quite a lot. The fresh water makes all the difference in odors and cleanliness. My fresh water shower rarely gets used except by me washing the rods and reels down once we get near the marina.

Sailfish builds a great sandbar boat. I want a fishing boat!!! It's amazing compared to the types of boats being built today that our boats are way more fishy than anything rolling out of the factories today, even with the front seating.

Ha, I was just thinking this the other day. My marina is a like a floating showroom since Hurricane Michael cleared out 75% of the boats, so now I get to window shop the latest and greatest every weekend. Ignoring the quad cats and 40+ boats (so staying in reality), the only thing that seems to do it for me is a nice, fairly stripped down Cape Horn 32xs. I look at it as a tougher built version of my 2860. Right next door is an Everglades dealer, so there's a bunch of those. Holy shit, I bet somewhere you open a hatch...that reveals another hatch...that has button...that remotely opens a drawer.

Cape Horn is one of but a few brands that hasnt seemed to succumb to the sand bar crowd.

Please share some photos as the build progresses. I like the Onslow Bay boats.
