I am having low flow to my fresh water washdown and sinks. I am trying to locate and access and location of the fresh water strainers. I have a 290 cc with a back seat. What is the secret to removing the back seat so I can access the transom access doors? Then where can I locate all the strainers. Water flow is low so I am assuming they are clogged.

If it's anything like my 2660 CC all you do is this: Starting with the seat folded out as if for seating, lift the front of the seat slightly and slip the steel bars off the pegs on the seat (there are keyhole style holes in the bars) and then tilt sideways and remove the seat. Reverse steps to reassemble.
Easy Peasy!
It was in fact during this process while inspecting my prospective purchase of this boat that the phrase, and name, came about. We were finishing up and I was trying to fold the seat back down. The seat bars in the channel were sticky and dirty and *very* squeaky and it took me some time and effort to get it right, but when I finally got it into position, the seat slammed closed with a *bang*! I turned to my soon-to-be wife, smiled and said, "Easy Peasy!". AT THAT VERY INSTANT, she got a text from her son who had just finished a 5 mile run to the beach that had her worried due to the hot weather. All he wrote was..... Easy Peasy! We walked in and made our offer!

By the way, I am in the market for a replacement fresh water pump for my 2012 2660 CC. Right now the model I have is Shurflo Pro Blaster 4901-4292C. It's 4 GPM, 45 PSI and needs 10A. That's all easy, but I am concerned about the FOOTPRINT. Anybody know if all the Shurflo pumps will match? I can't seem to find the exact model match....I can find close specs, but again... footprint. (No new holes!)
Thanks in advance.
FYI the reason I'm in need is because the previous owner let the drain hose fall off a cupholder above the pumps fall off. An otherwise dry bulge had a drip, drip, drip from that cupholder *right* onto the pumps. Raw water still doing OK but fresh water pump has corroded away!

I replaced bother fresh and saltwater pumps in my 2009 2660. Bought them from West Marine. Same footprint but different model. The existing pumps were the original.

It was a Shur-Flo pump-wash down Blaster II (3.5). Product number 15943947. Cost was $136.49 but I think I got them on sale.
