Hello everyone. I just brought home my new to me 2005 Sailfish 238. She needs a little TLC but I am looking forward to getting her ready for fall fishing. I will add some pics once I get everything updated and serviced.

Hey welcome to the forum! Assume from your screename you're out of NC?
The 238 is really the 266 hull relabeled for the SKA circuit?

Yes-I live in Newport but on the HWY 24 side of Newport. I fish mainly out of Bogue Inlet.
Yes the 238 is really the 266 hull. It measures 23'8" at the water line.

Thanks everyone. This is my 3rd Sailfish. I have had a 236 and a 266 previously.

Hey new member Dave here in Holden Beach NC. Purchased a new 245 DC earlier this year at Miami Boat show. It’s in a slip less than a mile away ready to go. Now if I could only get away from work I might be able to catch some fish....

Welcome aboard ravendog. Seems the 245DC community is growing on the forum. I got out yesterday (up about 100 miles from you), but wasn't fishing. Testing out a camera for night vision and trying to figure out the best location for it's display. But, anytime on the boat is a good time.
I'm sure you'll enjoy the boat.
