So I have Lenco Trim Tabs but the indicator lights on the panel don't work. Any reason they shouldn't? Previous owner stated in his response to the survey calling them out that they don't work... as if they were not supposed to even work? Just want to be sure they *should* be working before I try to troubleshoot.... Thanks

That’s odd. There are control panels without lights, but if you have lights they should light up. Call lenco, they do great over the phone troubleshooting.

I can think of a couple of scenarios...
1) the switch has gone partially bad
2) and more likely, the previous owner replaced a non LED switch with an LED switch not realizing in order for the LEDs to work the seller would've had to replace the box too, the box that is specifically for the LED switch.

And if you have a control box separate from the switch, well those components aren’t made anymore. The new “box” is built into the back of the switch.

I just went thru this replacing my actuator. I sent it out to lenco for trouble shooting and they repaired it. If there any issues in the switch, when lit up it will display every other light.

Mine did the same thing the lights went out last summer and I called Lenco and they said the actuator has been updated so I bought the new version. I think it was around 400 bucks if I remember correctly. But it was plug and play no hassles.

Yes I called and we came to the same conclusion. Separate control box ( now discontinued) so I need to buy a new style unit and will plug and play. The tech support was great on the phone, as someone else suggested. Very happy to have called.

Hey Dale, Mine did the same thing before it just quit lighting up. I would rock the key switch back an forth and that bought me about 2-3 months before the lights just went out completely.

Should have gone and bought a dremmel.
