I’m glad he was found safe, but I have laughed at the fake news media trying to hype this story. They reported that his engine stalled when he hit the fast moving gulf stream. I don’t think that is what killed his motor. He may have been 86 miles from his home port but he was only 20 miles from land. He was 86 miles south of port with a stream moving north. Doesn’t make much sense to me.

Yea a little deceptive story telling by the media, but that's par for the course for the media. Lol
I'm not sure if I were that guy that I'd feel any better being 20 miles out vs 86 miles. Finding him like that is like finding a needle in a hay stack.

There was a call out over the weekend for him in South Florida. Every 1 hour the coast guard were letting people know to be on the look out for him. They gave his name and vessel name. Definitely a very lucky man.
