Hi all! I was brought here trying to do research on a Sailfish 2080 I’m taking out for a test ride in a few days. I haven’t found any information ANYWHERE on that specific boat (seems to have only been made in 2012). If anyone has any input I’d be happy to hear it!
This will be my first boat, thankfully I’m taking far more knowledgeable people with me. Glad to be hear!

It may have become the 220 in 2013, and hopefully someone more familiar with the model naming can address that better.

Thanks for the reply and link! The catalogue is the only thing that I’ve been able to find regarding this boat, and with zero experience with Sailfish, I’m not sure if they just renamed or it was a completely one-off hull design.

That is a great hull, supposed to be an excellent riding hull for its size. It was popped directly from the SeaCraft mold that SF acquired at auction many years ago.
The hull has been part of the line up going back as far as 2000 (I believe). It used to be referred to as the 216cc.
There's plenty of information online if you search 216cc.

The deadrise is less than the 22, looks more like a bay boat with less deadrise. Give Sailfish a call they are helpful.

Thank you everybody for the information, it’s been extremely helpful! Nothing like a community that’s all about helping each other! I’m looking for more of a bay boat style so that works out. I’m happy to hear that it’s a good hull and not some single year design they scrapped.

Welcome aboard and good luck. One piece of advice, if you like the boat and can strike a deal with the owner, make it contingent on a survey. A survey might seem like a waste of time or a lot of money, but trust me, it will pay off in a finding some flaw that warrants a price adjustment, or is a deal breaker, or giving you the peace of mind that everything on the boat is sound. I wouldn't get a survey unless I had already agreed on a price. If a seller balks at this, he may be worried about what you will find.
