LolI have the older console style and I am shopping for a new 12" display (NSS Evo3). I would like to migrate my current 7" display over to this panel. I would have to fabricate a new panel and move the gauges down. I only have room for 3 and I am thinking of ditching the speed gauge. The speed function no longer works anyway. The only value I get out of it is the fuel level, but I can get an NMEA fuel sender and read it through my SIMRAD... Or at worse, just a generic smaller fuel level gauge.

View AttachmentMy .02, ditch the fuel gauge, with the accuracy of fuel flowmeters you can always know much more accurately, to within a gallon or so, how much fuel you have just by doing a little subtraction.....

OR, think outside the box...Move the gauges above the console. Fabricate a box for just the gauges, then put another 12" in. Bam! 2 12" screens, Merry Xmas..

If I were going to do all that, I would just install the display above the console, and I don't really want to do that because I have other plans to build a custom fitted console tray. Another 12" would be nice, but I don't think it will fit in that space where the gauges are and I really don't want to spend the money on 2x 12" displays right now. There is also very possibly a re-power in the future of this boat and I would go with an electronic multi display, or just incorporate it into the network.
