Greetings veterans and Congrats to all the other new owners!
Introducing myself as a very excited new owner of a 2021 245DC. Looking forward to diving in head first this season and learning from you all.
Any other DC owners out there in the Boston, Ma area?
Here’s to a better 2021 !!!

Welcome aboard. Post a picture when you can.
There are several 245DC owners on the forum, just not sure how many near you. 2020 sucked in several ways, but getting out on the boat is a sure fire way to improve things. I know the boat will make 2021 even better.

Good luck - I have a 245dc - but in NJ.
You will really enjoy it. I can’t wait till April 1st when it gets back in the water.

Welcome aboard, I have a 2018 down here in NJ, love the boat, had a couple of quirky things to get fixed, but i think they addressed some of them in future builds. Let us know when you take delivery and ask all the questions you want.

Well thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Here’s some pics. Only got in 3 short runs before I had to pull her for the season but already have some newbie questions. Appreciate your help. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on the new boat. Great looking rig. One of the few I’ve seen with a Mercury. What HP are you running? Got any performance numbers?

schlnrnd it’s the Mercury 300 XL four stroke which I’m told is now a 4.6L V8 (instead of a 6 cylinder). The sales guys tell you it doesn’t have to work as hard to develop the same power. I don’t have any performance numbers but it runs great and was able to do 42mph with full curtains down and 6 adults. Fingers crossed I don’t run into new model year problems. I would have gone Yamaha if the dealer had one..
