I have a 2360 that is in need of some re-upholstery. The coaming bolsters in particular. I was considering a change to a flat style of coaming bolster as compared to the rounded Sailfish coaming bolster. In addition, It seems like the flat bolsters give the appearance of more space. The boat sits in the water year round without a cover and is exposed to the elements of weather. I'm thinking of either SeaDek coaming bolsters or just re-upholstering. Does anyone have any experience with SeaDek? Also, is there a great quality marine grade vinyl out there that would be better?

I did my coaming pads with Seadek 8 or 9 years ago still like new they can handle anything throw at them. Your also correct it does open up the area. You can see in the photo I made my own from a sheet of material I bought. Then they make them their mush thicker. This was a fraction of the cost and still protects you when leaning against them fighting a fish.

No sir remove all old mounting strips fill any screw holes left behind. Them clean as directed by Seadek and apply. It's bonding ability is incredible it's never moved not even a corner. Using the thinner material really open the cockpit area appearance. Your gaining 3" on both port and starboard side and the stern. I only used one sheet $108.00. .an upholstery guy won't even look at your coning pads for that price

I am in the exact same boat...literally. I have been looking at seadek and asking for a quote for replacements of all the rear bolsters. Think i'm going to go this route, but the ones I saw were thicker thank finatic. I didn't think there were different options but seems like there are. Any other pictures to help sway me off the fence line? Thanks

Ok, I checked with SeaDek and gave estimated measurements and explained what I was looking for as far as color and style. The price for coaming bolsters was about 3 to 4 times more expensive than the Sailfish replacement bolsters. I found replacement bolsters at www.greatlakesskipper.com for under $300 bucks for the set of two. hmmmmmm....... Just don't know if I can justify paying that much more. Mind you, with SeaDek I was looking at an upgraded bolster which brought up the price. Anyone familiar with the web site www.greatlakesskipper.com ? I see a lot of Sailfish replacement cushions for reasonable prices. Thinking of going this route.

Fyi - those are not OE replacements. Llebroc makes the cushions for SF and they are far more than $300. I bought all new factory matched bolsters and cushions a few years ago. Pricey but had all of the snaps and bolster holes in the right places so made for an easy install and boat looked like it came right off showroom floor.
I'd be apprehensive about the fitment and quality for $300.

I was in the same boat a few years back and decided to have a local guy do new coaming pads for me. He used the same material and color as Lebroc's original and it cost me $400 for starboard, port and stern pads. They look amazing and are consistent with the rest of the boat. It did take some shopping around but I am thankful I found my guy. He has redone my leaning post cushions and is working on doing all new forward seating cushions now. I'm very excited on how sharp my boat will look this season!!

Plug and play, and like you said it looked like it came from the factory.

I went with SeaDek 2 years ago and am Very happy with it. Cleans easily and no parts to worry about. I should have gone a little thicker for those long bottom fishing days but it definitely opens up the boat and looks good. Still like new.
