The China virus has struck our house. Both me and my 8th grader got it. I suspect more will fall in our house. Stuff spreads like wildfire.
So far like a mild a flu. No real coughing (at least for me) or congestion. Some aches and a low grade fever. My son is similar but he's coughing a bit more.
I've been taking D3, Zinc and C throughout the winter. I upped my dosage of D3 a bit now that I'm sick.

Uh!Oh! Hope it doesn't get any worse. Doctors prescribe anything if you aren't in the hospital?

I'll keep taking D3 and the like, which is actually a prescribed regimen by doctors. D3 in particular has been shown to not only to help ward off viruses but to lesson the symptoms and shorten the duration

We're open in Florida but I'm still working from home as our company is following CDC guidelines and they have it posted that no more than 2 can be on an elevator in a building that probably holds 800-1000! I've heard about zinc, but not sure if it is truly effective. Don't take it lightly and see what else you can do to lessen long-term effects. Good luck!

Stay safe. I’ve had employees range from hospitalization to a mild fever. Hits everyone differently. I’m able to get the first round shot on Sunday. Probably going to get it.

Hope you do well. Granddaughter just lost a 43 year old coach (really in great shape) to COVID and my other granddaughter has a teacher been out for several months after being on a ventilator while sick. Nothing to mess with.
I got my 2nd shot last week. Wife is getting her first today. She was told by her doctor yesterday she's going on dialysis NOW. No way we can have her get COVID. Stupid system put me ahead of her and I'm in great health, but at least she's getting her first shot before her operation for dialysis.
Guess we have to look at it differently than some since we personally know people who've died or done poorly and my wife is in poor health. I understand why some choose not to get vaccinated and I hope it turns out to be the right decision for you.

This virus has killed more people than any war. This was attack on the American people and the rest of the world and those communist bastards need to pay. But I doubt anything will happen now.

Guess we have to look at it differently than some since we personally know people who've died or done poorly and my wife is in poor health. I understand why some choose not to get vaccinated and I hope it turns out to be the right decision for you. My mother is high risk and she is still waiting for a vaccine. I only hope she did not contract it from one of us. Not much unlike the flu, it is not something to take lightly. Interestingly enough the flu has a higher mortality in the younger 15 to 20 age cohert than COVID. My Dad died last year from complications that arose from the flu and while under some of the best medical care available at Walter Reed - his Dr was the same one that was looking over Trump and was on the news giving briefings. If you're high risk it is best to take precautions whether it is against the flu, COVID or the like. The vast majority that sucomb to COVID have underlying medical conditions (known or unknown) and/or fall into that high risk category. For a guy like me, the chances of having an adverse reaction and dying from the vaccine are about the same as dying from COVID, never mind any unknown long term consequences in connection with the vaccine, which is why I said I'll take my chances with COVID. Good news is day 3 and I'm feeling about the same, maybe a little more achy. No breathing issues, no temp today, no real coughing so to speak, just feels like mild flu still. My son much of the same. Hopefully this is the pinnacle of the progression.

I hope you all make it through well. It went through our family twice. First this summer 87 year old grandparents had it. They had a rough time but made it without going to the hospital. My grandmother 94 year old sister went to hospital tested positive she ended up passing but she wasn’t doing well before this. Second time at Christmas my 21 year old brother had it first so then myself my , wife , father in-law and a few others had it but all has mild symptoms. My wife and Kids had no symptoms at all and tested positive. We had a guy at work that died and I know of a few more that have died around us also. So it’s just so strange how some people get really sick and some have mild to no symptoms at all.
I was told to take zinc vitaminD and an 325 aspirin per day. And check oxygen levels daily.

It is a crazy virus. I played hockey on a Wednesday night, 2 days later, Friday, the rink lets us know someone on the other team tested positive. The following Tuesday I was talking to someone who was coming over on Saturday to install blinds, and they wanted to cancel because I hadn't gotten tested. I had no symptoms, fine I'll go get the f'ing test. Positive!! I couldn't believe it. At this point I'm living with my wife and daughter for a week since my exposure, they get tested, both negative. No one else on my hockey team ever had symptoms or got tested. How does that happen?

My granddaughter tested positive 3 weeks ago no real symptoms except tiredness. Three days later my son, daughter in-law and my other granddaughter get tested, my son is positive. Once again no real symptoms. A week later my daughter in-law gets to feeling sick she tests positive. My other grand daughter who is younger (12) is still negative. Makes no sense.

Fishnfool sounds like a well informed decision on your part. Admiral got the shot and things went smooth.
Glad to know most with COVID doing well and I hope everyone has no to few symptoms. Sure will be glad when Virginia gets back to ‘normal’. Kids need to go to school, businesses need to get back to work. Media needs to stop force feeding us their hype on COVID.
