Mine is mounted more centerline near the keep, so it's between my motors.

I have one of the big Garmin GT series ducers and it is mounted just in board of the starboard trim tab. Seams to hold bottom well at speed. It does spray a lot of water though. I probably should get the little shield they sell for it. I will look if I have a picture. Rag’s.

I had a Raymarine transducer on the port side, and it did OK. Here's a pic of my GT51M on the starboard side. I don't have twins but maybe it will give you an idea. Works great, I can read the bottom at speed. I highly, highly recommend the Garmin spray shield.
