Your situation is like sfgreg's right? When he flipped the switch to NAV only the lights on the bow worked, and when he flipped the switch to ANC only the all-round white light worked. If that much is working then we're you're almost there.

Right now either side of the switch lights everything.

You may have a short in your switch if everything lights up in either position.

Yeah I think there's more going on there all the lights are not lit some come on some don't. Some switches trigger other lights to light up even though that switche is moy on. I'm not sure what I would think there's a background light on all them switches that stays lit always so at night you have visibility of them

Looks like you found the problem. Should be an easy fix now. Good luck.

The question is, how did you break it? Lewmar owners want to know.

Glen, just to clarify, the switch panel you have is a rocker panel correct? Some of your symptoms sound more like the membrane panel, so I'm not sure what you have going on.

The question is, how did you break it? Lewmar owners want to know. I talked to the service guy from the link that teamruby gave me today. He said, that's a part that normally doesn't break so I don't have an explanation. However parts are available and it's an easy fix. It should be a cheap fix if it works, if not I'll buy a new one. For me it's a must have.

Yes it's the new rocker panel. A friend of mine is going there this week he'll get it corrected. I gave up on that switch. Maybe remove the diode and wire all three lights to the nav side of the switch and the anchor to the other side of the switch. Sounds like that could work to me, but that don't mean shit coming from me the wiring king. lol

No, that won't work unfortunately, but if the guy is experienced he'll get it sorted out. After your post from the other day I kept wondering how could I help you. I can't get there personally, but from what you've described it sounds like something I have worked on many times before and would be an easy fix for me. It occurred to me this afternoon that I could make a jumper for you which would have the needed diode and I could make it so that the nav and anchor light wire connections to the switch could be done with bullet connectors. It would be an easy installation and I would send you all the parts you need and instructions along with it so if your guy still has problems after he works on it just let me know.

That's very thoughtful of you thank you. I'm pretty sure he'll be able to get it working correctly so I'll give him some time to get down there and we'll see what happens.
