Had issues with one of the original battery switches over the weekend and to do a temporary fix at the dock when we got back ( long story ). going to replace all the switches now with a Battery Distribution cluster for twins made by BEP www.bepmarine.com/en/p/717-140a-dvsr. need to check all your battery switches they can make for a long day if they fail 60 to 70 miles offshore.

When relocating my battery I had to replace one of the cables going to the battery switch. I'd sure hate to have to hard wire it while at sea.
What's the story?

Had the same problem with mine not charging and replaced them both with the same ones to make it easy. Those Beps are real nice.

I installed the same BEP on my 2012 2680 with twin Yamaha 150's. Very happy with the results. The switches are solid and the performance is top notch. The factory panel only charged the house battery on one engine. The new panel charges the house battery while either or both engines are running. It enables slow trolling with one motor. I did have to fabricate a new cover that fits the OEM control box. Used the template that comes with the BEP. Hope your BEP improves your system.
