I live in Palm Beach County and wanted to trailer my 206cc down to the Miami area for a weekend to explore Biscayne Bay area. We intended to stay at a hotel in the Miami area but I am having a problem finding a place to park the trailer/boat, even for 1 or 2 nights. The hotels we are looking at have little-to-no surface parking. Some of the Miami-Dade ramps do have over-night parking but I was told they require you to have $100,000 boat insurance policy, which I do not have. I looked at some RV storage places but haven't found one that does daily use. Does anyone have any ideas? Only thing I can come up with is to get a hotel well away from the metro area (and well away from the boat ramps) that has its own surface parking lot.

Where in Miami are you staying? I have left my truck and trailer for multiple days at Matheson Hammock Marina and Black Point Marina. You just have to come between 8am and 4pm when there is a parking attendant at the entrance gate. He will give you a ticket/note that applies to multiple days. If you are leaving just the trailer, bring a lock for the hitch receiver and a chain for the wheels. Again, let the parking attendant know that you are leaving just the trailer.
