Interesting option!
I'd be curious as to the cost difference between painting a hull and the short/long term durability.
I can't help but recall reading about all of those Poly Glo nightmare stories by owners that put it on their hulls.

My cousin used it on an older boat I wasn't impressed at all it didn't hold up and he eventually ended up having it painted.

No 4 or 5 years ago, garbage product. He spent 5k had the boat painted. He recently passed, that is the boat I will sell for his wife.

My neighbor has used the PolyGlow on his yellow Contender, and re-applied it early this year. It looks pretty good; boat has a shiny look from a distance, but I can't remember how long it lasted him. I think it is a lot of work when it starts to go to get the bad areas removed or scuffed or whatever before reapplying it.
