My lids of the deck fish holds do not shut very well and I noticed that the lock latches not lock in a 90 degree angle. They can only be positioned at an angle of about 30 degree. I am wondering if those are the original latches. May someone with a 2360 WAC please confirm that they have the same latches, maybe pic of what you have. I attached some pics of the settings I have. Thank you very much.
This is the position of the lock latch when the lock handle is in lock position. Thanks everyone

The length of the arm is too long to go 90 degree. I can could shorten/cut them. My main question is are those the original latches?

Would seem to me those are what came on thr boat and not uncommon for that application.
The length of the arm is too short? Does that mean if you turn it, it doesn't catch or am I misunderstanding?

The arm is rather too long. The arm hits and stops at the inside of the fish box at around a 30 degree angle. That is all the way. Because of that I was wondering if those latches are the original ones or the previous owner put those in.

It really shouldn’t matter if they turn 30 or 90 degrees, as long as they’re getting a good hold under the inside lip of the fish box in the closed position. Are you saying they’re hitting the lip or going under?
Just adjust the two nuts above and below the arm until you get them positioned where you want.
And yes, those look like the stock latches to me.

With the hatch lid open, measure how far past the edge of the lid the arm extends in the 90-degree position. Then measure the distance from the forward edge of the hatch opening to the back. If it is greater than the arm can reach, then the two nuts need adjusting to lower the arm, as jski59 mentioned.
