Hi everyone, After a half day on the Ocean with quiet some swell I noticed when back on land that I have about 1-2 Gallon of water coming out of the bilge drain hole when taking the plug out. Any common places where the 2360 is prone to water intrusion? Splashwell lids? through hulls? What is a good approach to find the issue? thank you

I am on my second year with a 2006 2360. Last year I noticed a small amount of water on the CC head floor. Maybe a pint of water after pulling the drain plug. Both valves were frozen shut and did not notice any water leaking in when anchored or underway.I suspected the water was coming in when underway somehow. The one for the head looked difficult to reach, so I had a boat repair shop replace both of them. The shop commented that the forward one was difficult to replace because it is located forward of the head under the deck. Since this past spring, not a drop of water.

I have a 2360 as well and after a heavy rain, rough day with a lot of spray or a good wash down I get water in the bilge. I believe it comes from the forward floor well that drains into the bilge, the forward rod holders and stern rod holders also drain into the bilge. A gallon or 2 is nothing.

Check your access plates in the splash well, the gaskets might be bad. Hose test them.
And as mention any rain water that collects forward while docked will eventually make it's way back to the bilge when running. Although I'd expect forward water collection to be less an issue with a WAC than it is with my CC. It is amazing how much water my boat captures through rod holders,.cup holders, floor storage etc during rain storms.

Did the water test in the splash well and noticed some water trickle into the bilge. Will replace the o rings and will test again and post update. Cheapest o rings I found was on tackle direct for 8" pry up deck plate o ring for 5.99. When you think that the splash well has most of the time water in there and the deck plates are not water tight due to compromised o rings that can up over a day on the water. Will see...

Wipe the o rings down as well with dialectic grease, helps seal them better.
I had a 2360 and in rough seas I'd get a lot of spray running up the sides and hitting the rub rails (I could hear it deflect off the rails). Always noticed a little more water in the bilge on those days.

My splash well drains seeped a little on my 06 2360. I looked inside one day when the bilge was draining a gallon or so every hour approx. I could see water trickling down the inside of the transom. 3M 4200 solved that.

Installed the two new lid seals in the splash well - took the boat out Sunday for a full day fishing in rough water - Running 90 miles total - end of day 2 gallon of water in the bilge.
Will keep looking for the culprit - and update when I figured it out.

I would also check that the splash well access plates are properly bedded with sealant? I found no sealant on mine. Also, make sure that the three splash well drain tubes are properly sealed to the cap and hull. There is a gap between the cap and the hull, and if the drain tubes are not sealed, water will enter the bilge through the gap. Unfortunately you may have to destroy the splash well drain tubes in order to determine this. When my original plastic ones deteriorated, I replaced them with new ones and sealed everything. The original splash well tubes did not have any sealant, again.

FYI. We had about five or six inches of rain over the weekend my boat was sitting on a trailer I went down today pulled the plug and the water drained out of that bilge for about 6 or 7 minutes all rain water. It makes its way in through the cup holders on the bow of the boat this is the main breach so this winter I'll be removing every cup holder and raising it with a gasket a quarter of an inch so that the water will circle around it rather than fill into it. On the top of both sides of your fish Lockers in the bow those little channels to channel the water off the no slip decking channels right into those cup holders.

I believe most of it comes in through the topside(as mentioned above). I get water in the bilge when the boat is on the lift. I also don't think it is much to worry about. Another entry point could be the rear livewell. the top is not well sealed and water can get over the edge and into the bilge.

On the CC 2360 I believe the forward floor well drains into the bilge as well.
