Hi all, I am going to redo my interior on my 236. I was just wondering if I should use factory fabric colors or just go white ? Also my boat came with a complete front cushion set, I notice in almost all pics of 236ās no one has them in the boat. What the opinion on keeping them? The boat mostly gets fished. Some light cruising. Thanks for the input.

My cushions live in my storage shed except when taking people out for an intercoastal cruise, or if my wife wants them while I'm fishing. Also, I wouldn't go with a bright white if you decide that route. I'd go an off white just because it's easier to keep clean. Original factory colors would probably be best when you go to sell it.

I too rarely put the cushions and jump seats on. Only for the non fishing days which are rare. I would prefer the white though as I like people to have to squint and reach for their sun glasses when they get on because the inside is so clean and brite!

I use the front cushions quite a bit, they live in the console when not in use i.e. I'm fishing or during the week when not using the boat. They are super easy to install and make sitting up front a lot more comfortable. Just depends on how you plan to use the boat.
I like a little contrast and texture with cushions so I would keep some grey but maybe you do something a diamond stitch on the grey part?
Also there are many variations of white, so my recommendation is, dont go too white since the SF gelcoat is not a bright white, it's a little off white

I was thinking the same about the white. Does anyone know if I can just order factory cushions from sailfish and if so would they be competitive with a local shop?

Give them a call and see what's the latest with them. I think they still sell direct.

Well I gave them a call today and they said that they no longer work with Sailfish. They also said that they no longer have the patterns. I guess I will have to try to find a local shop.

Hey Ktval, I had all my bolsters and seats replaced last winter from Lebroc who originally made them for sailfish and are OEM for my 2008 2660. They were an exact fit and looks like it came from the factory when I installed them with factory logos. They had all the patterns already so I just picked the ones I wanted. Just an FYI Gatorman-

I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time, but I don't believe Llbroc made cushions for the previous gen 236/266 boats.
You can call an ask. Google Llbroc Industries.
