Nice going Glen, an 11lb blue will put up a fight!
I managed to get out today after a soccer game by myself in the rain and caught 20+ dink rock light tackle jigging and a sea gull. Lol It was just nice being out there.
Love this time of year the resident fish school up feeding on sardines.

That’s for sure can’t wait! Excuse me for not remembering but do you fish Long Island Sound or the South side of Long Island Sound. My side of Long Island Sound has so many Rock structures that produces Phenomenal Black fishing

No worries, I live in Port Jefferson and keep the boat in Riverhead on the trailer for now. So I fish both eastern Long Island sound and the ocean.

I keep my boat in Branford at the Indian Neck Yacht Club. From the three break walls outside of New Haven Harbor to Guilford there's probably 15 or 20 really good structures that support big black fish. Look on your charts Townsend's ledge, Branford Beacon, negro heads, Garrison's,the Crooked S are just a few.Several head boats from NY cross the sound to fish here. When the season opens we can talk more just send me a PM.
