I was able to get out for a couple of hours on Saturday north of Boston and got into some nice striped bass, nothing huge, mid 30" for the most part. This one was 35" (she's back swimming for another day). LOTS of little bass too, they were chasing mackerel that were bigger than they were!

Nice, I always catch and release, unless someone wants fish.

Their mouths when fully opened are huge, they engulf the bait! They eat everything from live bait (mackerel, pogies etc.), to lobsters, live eels, plugs etc. Very fun fish to catch!

Nice, I always catch and release, unless someone wants fish. I do the same. Some of the most fun fish to catch aren't edible anyway, or regulations won't allow them to be kept. You can eat striper (after a long soak we cut it in strips, batter and fry it), but it's not my favorite, so unless someone has asked for fried striper - it goes back to the sea.
