Hello all, Don't have a sailfish but seriously looking at the 236 and 2360 .. My 18 ft scout SF limits me to offshore fishing . Love the Build , layout and versatility that the Sailfish provides ... Chris

Here is a 2013 240 cc listed in Long Beach Island by Marinemax..... they asking $56,900, Marinemax is a big company and they love to sell..... when I bought mine from them, they were asking upper $70,000's, bought in the upper $60,000's, was very happy with the deal, boat was like new, with only 17 hours on it from the previous owner........ bet you can land it in the upper $40,000's..... take a look, I've owned the same boat, 2015, for about 2 1/5 years now and would be happy to answer any questions you may have..... www.marinemax.com/boats-for-sale/details/marinemax-brokerage/sailfish/240-cc/2013/marinemax-ship-bottom/6903809

Welcome to here. I have the 236 and luv it! How is the 236 when drifting? Does it rock a lot ? That’s definitely a concern for me when the boat has more of deep V

Welcome aboard! Sailfish are big, heavy hulls that do quite well in snotty conditions. I got to sea trial mine on a nasty day with some heavy seas and was immediately sold! Friends of mine who own a Sea Pro and a Pursuit respectively constantly comment on how impressed they are with my Sailfish and how it handles nasty conditions better than their boats.

IMO the 236 sailfish is decent on a drift. It is comparable to all other deep vee boats in that size range. The only reason i say its decent is because it does roll but nothing out of the ordinary. Keeping the bow into the waves makes a huge difference. A drift sock/sea anchor will make a huge difference. As Twisted said it is a very capable hull and i have had friends with other brands comment how well it does.
