I’m a little late getting here. I bought a 2006 2660 with twin f150s in August. I’m in south Florida and I usually fish between fort pierce and west palm beach. Mainly Bought the boat to make some family trips to the Bahamas. I went with some friends a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Has anyone crossed the stream in a 2660?

Welcome milkmoney! A good choice in boat for those crossings.
Looking forward to seeing pics and vids of your adventures - it's as close as us northern guys can get.

Welcome again, post some photos of your rig. And don't forget to show any projects you did for a chance of winning the Fin Nor reel.

Glad you made it Mikey cross the stream pretty regularly in his 236. I am sure he could give you pointers on crossing and places to stay. Rag’s

Welcome aboard from New Jersey, just so you guys planning on running across to Bimini this weekend can really laugh at us fools in the North, it was 19 this morning when I got in my truck, hoping to make one last push for striped bass on Saturday, then wrapping up until March!

Thanks everybody.
I’m planning on running to west end in July. Everyone I know stays at “old Bahama Bay, or Blue Marlin. Any opinions on these or other marinas around Freeport?
Thanks

Crossing the stream in a 2660 is like going on a cruise ship compared to some of the small boats I've gone on.

I want to go in my 2360 this summer. I would go out of St Lucy Inlet.

Finally had a chance to add some photos.
The previous owner’s sprinklers were hitting the trailer, so that is all iron water stain on the trailer.

Nice looking sled, all but the trailer. But the trailer is just used to get boat from point A to B. Boat looks clean.

Hit that trailer with some oxcalic acid in a pump up sprayer. It will neutralize that iron and simply vanish right in front of you. I buy it in bulk powder form but you can find it in many liquid forms at the box stores.
