I'm over in North Augusta, SC. Want to get over that way for some red fishing sooner or later.

A spot in Charleston that I had some good redfish catches. The south Charleston jetties nearshore beginning within 100 yards of the visible rocks on the outside of the jetty. Carolina rigs with some live menhaden or mullet. Fish the incoming tide. And be careful anchoring, strong current, stay between the boulders and the occasional breakers that come out of nowhere. And use some heavy tackle and rods. Occasionally a redfish catch turns into a shark attack with a not so intact redfish. Lots of charter trips show up there, or at least they use to.
