Hey Glen, in full disclosure, I've got a guy that knew a while back I was thinking of selling who said he wanted it when I was ready. It's been several months so not sure he is still in the market. I told him ok that he was first in line.
I contacted him last night before posting this to see if he still wanted it. He's got until this afternoon to get back to me. It's been so long I suspect he won't want it anymore, hence why I posted here, but at least wanted to extend the courtesy since I told him I would.
I'll let you know.

No worries, let me know later. Could be a nice addition to the boat.

How much of an ordeal is it the set these units up. I'm sure the wiring is all Plug and Play just wondering about mounting the unit.

It's two cables, data and power. Pull them through and connect to your N2k back one or back of your Garmin.
Not sure exactly on next steps to activate the unit on your Garmin, but you might have to find it on your Garmin set up menu and activate it. I'll include the directions that came with my unit, should be the same.
It's a big box so shipping is expensive.
Radar is awesome, I wouldn't own a boat without it. If you've ever been caught out in the fog or at night it is invaluable.

Here's a picture I took of your unit Glen, of when I was out fishing early morning in the fog. It's a radar overlay on the plotter.
The smaller blobs you see are small boats, the larger blob is an anchored freighter, and you can see the bouys on the plotter showing up as blobs on the radar.
But the worst is if you are trolling in fog and you don't know if a freighter is baring down on you, with radar you will see that freighter, plus all of the other boats trolling around you.
Visibility here was maybe 500 feet. You can't see any of the boats showing up on radar with your eyes.

When you say you have all brand new cables, does the network cable have the marinized RJ-45 installed on both ends or does it just have one installed and it comes with a field installed RJ-45?

All Garmin cables with terminations that come in the box with a brand new Garmin HD/HDx ready for installation. There are 2, power and data. It will plug right into his MFD or N2K network.
That is the 18 in the box.

I might need to find a smaller box, the box it's in now is a bit too big and will be a lot more to ship.

Hahaha no doubt. the biggest pain the ass is pulling cables.
If you want to do it on the cheap, I had it mounted on a 5 degree wedge, made out of starboard/PVC. It provided enough tilt and clearance. Could see crab trap buoys.
I'll get in touch when I get back.
