I have a 2018 242 center console and have had issues ever since I took delivery with the live well pump getting air into the system. I believe it is due to the location of the water pick up but I would like to hear from other owners if they are having similar issues on either of the 242 or the 241, or any boat that has the transom mounted live well

I have no issues with my live well.
What is the symptom of the issue you describe?

I had a problem with mine for years, from day one. One day about 6 yrs into owning the boat I removed the hose attached to the sea cock valve. Thats were the issue was the valve was not opening up all the way which caused the problem with air in the baitwell and washdown. I removed the handle that open's and close's the ball valve and cut off the little stop on the handle. The valve handle could now open the ball valve completely.. After years of changing pumps and everything else I could think of the air problem was resolved. Don't know if that's the issue in your case but it was mine maybe take a look got nothing to lose.

I have a 2019 242CC and the live well pump works great. Does your washdown pump work OK? They both come from the same seacock but are separate pumps
