I dont know, it undoubtedly will impact/inconvenience those traveling longer distances. Under the circumstances I think the world wide grounding is the right thing to do at this stage.
I am very curious as to the cause of two very similar crashes in such a short timeframe.

My daughter was on a plane to the Dominican Republic when this last one went down. It made a pretty nervous father. She’s flying Delta, and the don’t have any of these planes. I feel a little better now.

I worked on 747 for years. The air frames are WAY over built and I think we will see that it is an outside vender part at falf. Like engine or hydraulics. Rag’s

American pilots reported that the new Boeing 737 planes aggressively nose-dived after take off last year, BEFORE the aircraft model was involved in two deadly crashes Two pilots in the U.S. reported that the Boeing 737 Max 8 suddenly tilted downwards as it was flying last year One pilot said after activating autopilot, the nose of the plane pitched downward and the plane began descending at 1,200 to 1,500 feet per minute The pilots were able to recover after disconnecting the autopilot The voluntary reports were filed last year and were compiled by NASA The Boeing 737 Max 8 was the aircraft that crashed in Ethiopia and in Indonesia, marking two tragedies on the same model within five months On Wednesday the U.S. joined more than 40 countries that have grounded the model following the two horror crashes www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...oeing-jet.html

I feel a little better now. Delta does NOT have any of these planes. Some of our codeshare partners do, West Jet comes to mind. Impacts really should be minimal. There just aren’t enough of this variant of the 737. Airlines will shuffle planes and pilots and cover down with different aircraft types.

No matter what the cause Boeing is not have a great year so for that’s for sure. 1 767 and 2 737 within 6-8 months. I would say it’s time for 6 lucky numbers and a Gulfstream 👍🏻

I think the 767 will come back operator error. Cargo not loaded right and shifted in flight (though this is usually on takeoff and plane goes nose high and stalls), maintenance issue, or even just ran the damn thing out of gas. If it was a cargo fire, like lithium batteries or whatever, I think they would have gotten word to ATC over the radio. Could have been some sort of fumes issue and crew all passed out. Only guesses on my part, no insight to investigation, but I don’t think they will find Boeing at fault on the 767 crash. I didn’t stay at a holiday inn express last night, but I do fly planes for a living.

I'm just going to throw this crazy idea out there how long before all this is Trump's fault.

My friend who works for ups said they were talking about a major micro Burst but he feels that the plane has way to much power for that. He flys the 767 all the time.
I think Trump colluded with tthe Russians to crash the planes with there super special lazer to take the heat off of him. Just my theory.

I'm just going to throw this crazy idea out there how long before all this is Trump's fault. Everybody knows it's because Trump shut down the government for 35 days and that's when the plane came off the line with no FAA supervision because they were also shut down. It's just common sense! (That'll get Glen in an uproar)
