I’m of the option that batteries on a boat which is operated in offshore environments, should be replaced at least every 3 years. I have several other vehicles which use deep cycle batteries, camper, dump trailer, they get the hand-me-downs from boat. If I need a new one , it goes in boat, boat donates to other less critical user.

10 years is amazing. And 10 miles off shore, well, we call that "just past the jetties" around these parts.
