I'm a new owner of a 2360 and I have the same issue with the stern bait well. Looks like the simplest fix will be to add a check valve to the inlet supply line. Haven't gotten around to it yet as the center located baitwell has the inlet location well up in the tank. The stern tank system is just a poor design. Hay. Randy why not register when you have time.

I added check valve, I cut the hose right off the pump and put it there

I know it's a pita but I think it was done for a reason to keep your live bait Lively you need constant water if you forget to recirculate your bait will die. I just leave the pump on.

I liked the set up on my older 218 it had the stand pipe style drain. Its still there and works great!
