Has anyone put a Rhodan Trolling motor on a 2660CC yet? Would love some pictures/details of how it is mounted. Seems to be a bit of a curved lip over the edge of the bow. Does it clear the anchor locker? Sturdy enough fiberglass on top to through bolt it?
Update after install: This thing is amazing. Completely unfair fishing advantage. Here is how i did it. I didn't want to move the nav light. I'll just detach rhodan it if i run at night. Got the bracket from Rhodan. cut it off for anchor locker access when Rhodan is removed. Ran wires to console and used a trolling plug mounted in the anchor locker. inside the anchor locker is a ledge of sharp fiberglass. i split some flexible conduit and used it as chaff protection. Bought the ram mount claw attachment to connect the rhodan direct to railing when stowed instead of drilling more holes. Calibrating and testing tomorrow offshore. Trolling plug amzn.to/2X07bhV4 gauge wire amzn.to/2FDXxancrimper amzn.to/2FssI8j50A circuit breaker amzn.to/2WZy1lFRam mount claw attachment. amzn.to/2RwmWqV

Details please! How did you access underneath for the bolts? did you use a backing plate? Where did you put the batteries? Love to see the exact mounting position.

I tried every possible way to fit the 36v 84" Rhodan on my 09 2660 sailfish. Could not find a mounting location to fully support the puck with the proper 1" clearance from the rub rail. I ordered the extender plate from Rhodan for $89. The angle on the bow makes it impossible without some type of bracket. Just FYI for anyone else ordering one for a 2660.. get the plate!

I apologize I haven’t logged in lately to give everyone an update on the Rhodan. I’ve been on spot lock reeling up studs lol! The way I mounted was I ordered two aluminum backing plates directly from rhodan. I used one on top and one on bottom as the backing plate. The backing plate needed to be cut at an angle for the bow shape. I then drilled out both mounts to 5/16” bolts due to the supplied 1/4” were not enough for hold. I then used large washers and lock nuts. I will try to get a lot of pictures in the next few days for anyone questioning. I also ran the battery cables myself. I put the batteries inside the center console. I ran the battery cable under the dash, up to a port hole, then slowly ran towards the front anchor locker. Really helps with two people. I installed the rhodan battery tender plug in the anchor locker.
Any questions just ask, I’ll try to be more proactive in the next week to answer questions
