Debated with myself all day yesterday over the forecast. Woke up this am and said screw it Im gonna try and will turn back if need be. Broke the inlet around 9:00 to a friendly sea! The bite was tough at first. Moved away from my spot that was getting crowded and found a little piece all by myself. And started Bailen ‘em! Equal amount of monsters and small ones with an occasional throw back. Finished up at 2:30, left them chewing and handed my bait off to another boat. It was nice enough that I could have gone offshore. Next time.

Way to go, great catch.
On a side note, how do you like your sea deck coming bolsters? They look nice.

I really like them. Easy to take care of and take up little space. If I were to do it again I would opt for the thicker version though. A little too hard for a long day of leaning on them. Think they are 13mm.

Thanks!!! My buddy put some on his new 36 Tideline and I’m thinking of replacing my originals with these. Mine are getting pretty old.

What is everyone's fav way to catch sea bass? I really love to use a nice butterfly jig. The bait shop guys think I don’t know what I’m doing or say “you know tog season is closed right?” But my favorite is half a green crab. Or any type of crab. Shhh......

Really wow I never heard of using a crab for sb. Yep. Have even caught them on just crab legs that were laying around the boat after running out. On Sat most of them were spitting up sand fleas and those tiny orange crabs.

Side note #2, how do you like your spray rails? Are they the Smart Rails from Integrity Marine? What model are they? Can you post a close up? I am interested in installing them this summer. Mainly to keep my daughter, wife and visiting guests drier. I was not sure which model to get from Integrity Marine, and where exactly to mount it relative to the chine (mainly for the M1000 model). That's why I am interested in a closeup of the rail relative to the chine.
