So I have the boat pulled looking for this leak. I see it has a drain exiting threw the transom on the port side. Does anyone know what it drains? The front anchor locker has its own drain in the bow.

Not sure why that is there but it does look like it has a drip line indicating water runs out of it. Can you not see it from inside?

It runs threw the port chase and then I can’t see where it goes. I think I will have to back feed it and see what happens.

That is odd. I would guess a DIY drain for something like a forward bilge pump (should be above water line) or flush head maybe?

Front fish and anchor lockers have there own drains. The head only goes to a holding tank

You have a sink somewhere? Inside console maybe?

That doesn't look factory. Perhaps someone else with a 236 will chime in

I wonder if it might have been for an underwater light. There is an LED light made that can be screw into the garboard drain fitting and connected electrically just inside the transom.

Def not for a light, there is a hose running up the port chase

It drains the front bilge access rim, can be back flow issues if drifting with heavy bow, ie fish boxes near full. Lift front bilge acces hatch, should be drain in hull rim. Use water hose pressure to confirm.
