Made a long trip Saturday to put my nephew and buddy Todd on some amberjack. We had pretty flat seas most of the day, so we went long out to the shelf (300 feet). We found the AJ pretty quick and picked up 1 nice almoco jack and 1 bee liner. We made our way to my snapper spot to top off our fish boxes and it didn’t disappoint. The fishing was a little slow but the big girls were hungry. My buddy caught a new boat record at 25 lbs. my dad boated one just over 20 and I even got in on the action with one just over 18 lbs.
