My name is Chris and I hale from Annapolis!
Having owned two SF boats, a 2008 218cc and now a 2010 2660, I can say with some confidence both boats have served me and my family well as both a sandbar hopper and a fishing platform. I fish the Chesapeake Bay, Pamlico Sound and offshore of NC. Hoping to get out of Ocean City MD and make that a more frequent destination.

Thanks Chris!!!
My name is Richard and I have a 2008 2860. I was Sea D!ck Go on the other board.
I fish out of Gautier, MS primarily, but will travel from Orange Beach, AL to Venice, LA.
I run Outta D Blue Charters out of Gautier for near shore state water species.

I had an '04 266 that I sold in 2010. I was the weekend captain of a sportfisherman and wasn't getting any use out of the boat. My wife suggested I sell the boat and use the money to buy a new Vette; made perfect sense to me. Through the forum I manage for the most part to keep up with the newer boats, but I also on rare occasion actually step foot on one to install or troubleshoot something.
Chris, before moving to Florida 20 years ago I had a boat on the Chesapeake and fished from both the South and West rivers just below Annapolis.
I have been concerned by the lack of administration on the old forum and worried that one day it would be gone, so I'm glad to see that we have a new Sailfish forum up and running.

Hey glad you made it Ron! Wow the things I learn about members even after all these years. First, i didn't realize you sold your SF, second never knew you lived in my backyard, never mind that you were also a charter captain! Very cool! We live off White Hall Creek, one creek removed from the creek Cantlers is located on. I am sure the fishing has changed dramatically since you were here and not for the better. No more chopper blues mid bay, the Spanish stay largely south, the trophy rockfishing season has really gone down hill, in fact two fleets out of Deale and Chespeake Beach were skunked on opening day this year. Despite all of that the summer light tackle season has been very good. Anyway welcome and glad you join. Now we all need to pitch in and help Glen figure out how to activate his account lol

Yes I did nothing,,,, Can you delete me from the system and I could start over ? Every time I try to post I've got to dance through hoops to prove I'm not a robot. That would be a real test of the administrators skills. Let me check.... In the meantime set up a Yahoo email account, it's free and easy. I had no problems receiving the registration email on my Yahoo account.

finnatic I can ban your guest user account but I am not sure if that will delete your e-mail registration and/or prevent you from trying to use that account again, say under a different e-mail address. But then again, I am not sure if you will be able to use that screen name under a new e-mail address as long as there is an open registration under that screen name.
